Workshops

activities

We wish to see a person who knows who they are and develop their talent so that they become  responsible and accountable  for their lives.

Kyuka Youth Outreach holds workshops at Jesus Worship Centre every Saturday. These workshops  are about music, dance, drama and visual arts with the intention of bringing out the best out of the youth who attend the workshops.

Church

Kyuka youth outreach was founded on Christian values and is part of Jesus Worship Centre church.

Jesus Worship Centre has worked with Kyuka youth outreach to develop the youth morally in a God fearing way. This is through a service held on Sundays from 4pm to 6pm known as the whole shakers service where Kyuka leads the entire service. We are grateful to Pastor Kato and there entire pastoral team for the wonderful relation with Kyuka youth outreach.

Flash mob

This is where Kyuka Youth Outreach promotes information awareness towards Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, solid waste and sanitation management.

Kyuka does it in a more interesting way that includes mobising people in a given area by passing on a particular message through a dance and further reaching out to the people in that very community.

Sports

Amongest the youth from Natete and the surrounding areas, we also haven’t left out those with a passion for football.

We provide for them an opportunity to develop their soccer talent with a football club known as “supercubs soccer academy” that partners with Kyuka Youth Outreach. So far the club has been so successful after winning so many accolades and the best players have been scouted by some very good teams beyond the boarders of Uganda who in turn buy these players to go and continue their career in those new teams that have bought them.

Elders forum

With the many challenges that the youth face, the gap between the elders and the youth is another point of concern. As Kyuka Youth Outreach, we bridge the huge gap between the two persons, elders and youth come together to discuss about life style and any other area in life.
